How it works.
Every project follows the same sequence. Nothing gets built until it has been designed, drawn, and reviewed. Every step involves Jonas directly.

Conversation
The work starts in the room, not on paper. Every project starts with a call or a site visit. The goal is to understand the room, the way it is used, the fixed constraints, and what the piece needs to do. The more that is known before the first drawing, the better the outcome.
For trade clients: send the project brief or drawings first. Crow & Timber will confirm within 48 hours whether it is a fit.
DESIGN
Decisions are easier on paper than in wood. Drawings come first. Dimensions, material selection, joinery approach, and any hardware are worked out on paper before anything is cut. Changes are easy at this stage. They are not easy later.

REVIEW
Nothing moves forward until both parties are satisfied. Before the build starts, the drawings and specifications are reviewed together. Dimensions are confirmed against the space. Material is selected from available stock. This is the time to ask questions and make adjustments.
BUILD
Built by one person, in one shop. Every piece is built by hand in Nevada, Iowa. No subcontractors. No production floor. Current lead time is 4 to 8 weeks from approved drawing. Jonas reaches out at key points during the build with updates and photos.

DELIVERY
The piece leaves the shop when it is right. Completed pieces are delivered or available for pickup in Nevada, Iowa. White glove delivery is available for large pieces within the Midwest corridor. Placement and final inspection are included.
